This document is the official fee schedule for all commercial tiers offered by MealApp to Partner Restaurants (“Merchants”). It is published under the authority of MealApp, registered at Sint-Paulusplaats 11, 2000 Antwerp, Belgium, under Enterprise Number BE1034.892.802.
By onboarding to the MealApp platform and processing orders through mealapp.app or mealappmanager.com, the Merchant accepts this fee structure as a binding component of the Merchant Terms of Service.
All amounts listed below are quoted in euros (€) and are subject to Belgian VAT (BTW) where applicable.
1. Setup Fees
- Setup Fee: €0. There are absolutely no setup, onboarding, or activation fees charged to the Merchant at any stage.
- Hidden Fees: None. MealApp does not charge integration fees, training fees, or per-user license fees.
2. Reservation Package
This package is for venues that require booking, table management, and reservation management through MealApp.
- Monthly Cost: €32 per calendar month, billed in advance.
- Free Trial: The first 31 days are completely free. The trial begins on the date the Reservation Package is activated inside mealappmanager.com. No payment is required during this period.
- Cancellation: The Merchant may cancel the Reservation Package at any time from within the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
3. Delivery Commission Tiers
MealApp offers four distinct commission tiers for delivery orders. The Merchant selects a tier during onboarding and may request a tier change by contacting partner@mealapp.net.
Full Logistics Solution — 25% Commission
- MealApp manages rider coverage, payment transactions, and full delivery execution.
- This is the most complete option. MealApp handles every step from order confirmation to doorstep delivery.
- Commission is calculated on the pre-tax order value (excluding VAT).
MealApp Rider Network — 15% Commission
- MealApp provides professional rider logistics through our network.
- Delivery costs are covered by the restaurant. The restaurant pays the 15% commission plus the per-delivery rider cost.
- Commission is calculated on the pre-tax order value (excluding VAT).
Large Chain / Super Store Partnership — 15% Commission
- This tier is exclusive to major brands and super stores using the MealApp Rider Network.
- Available to multi-location operators and large-format venues by application and approval.
- Commission is calculated on the pre-tax order value (excluding VAT).
Own Rider Fleet — 13% Commission
- For restaurants that handle their own internal local deliveries using their own employed or contracted riders.
- MealApp provides the ordering software, payment processing, and dashboard. The restaurant manages all delivery operations independently.
- Commission is calculated on the pre-tax order value (excluding VAT).
- This is the lowest commission tier available on the platform.
4. Payment Processing Fees
This section defines how payment gateway costs are handled. This is a crucial distinction from the commission tiers above.
- Commissions do not include payment processing fees.
- Payment processing fees are NOT charged to the restaurant.
- The customer pays the processing fee at checkout. A standard payment processing fee of 3% + €1.00 per online order is added to the diner’s total at the point of checkout.
- The restaurant’s revenue is 100% protected from gateway costs. MealApp does not deduct card or payment processing charges from the Merchant’s payout.
Example. If a diner places an order for €50.00, the diner sees a processing surcharge of €2.50 (3% of €50.00 + €1.00). The Merchant’s commission is calculated on the food order value, not on the surcharge. The surcharge flows to the payment provider.
5. Billing and Payout Schedule
- Reservation Package billing: Monthly in advance via invoice.
- Delivery commission billing: Deducted automatically from the Merchant’s payout for each completed order cycle.
- Payout frequency: As defined in the Merchant Terms of Service, with settlements processed to the Merchant’s registered IBAN via SEPA transfer.
6. Changes to This Schedule
MealApp reserves the right to update this Commission Schedule with 30 calendar days’ prior written notice to active Merchants. Any change takes effect after the notice period and applies only to orders processed after the effective date.
